35 Cent Gas

35 Cent gas? ...Today, it's almost hard to imagine. As I set up this shot, I thought of what I spend on fuel for my road trips, and how little they would cost if I were feeding the Starving Artist Van with 35 cent gas.

Yeah, those were different times, when fuel prices stayed the same long enough to paint them on a semi-permanent sign. It wasn't really that long ago but they were, indeed different times.
