Photo #N10-1

Compressor Plant Exterior, Winter View

'The fist time I laid eyes on the Turner Valley Gas Plant was in April of 2000 when I was through town scouting possible night shooting locations. I parked the Starving Artist Van along the road and circled the compound on foot, peering in through the fence from various angles. From one vantage point I was looking straight down the side of this building, much like you see here but from further in the distance. It was at that moment that I decided I HAD to shoot this place at night. Conditions during my shoot here in September prevented me from getting a photo from the angle that originally inspired me but I was finally able to capture it here during my second visit on the December 2000 road trip.
