Abandoned USAF Base #1

Several years ago this US Air Force Base in the Southern California desert was abandoned by the military. Since then, the residential neighborhoods on site have been vacant, left open to the elements and weathering over time. This was a rare opportunity to photograph a complete, intact, abandoned town at night! It was an opportunity that could not be missed and it was incentive enough to load the Starving Artist Van with gear and embark upon an epic road trip across 8 states and two provinces from my home in Canada.
