Gasoline/Propane Plant and Pipe Tray

An outside view of the Gasoline/Propane Plant at the Turner Valley Gas Plant taken under an overcast sky. Note the disconnected, almost frayed looking conduit on the left. Despite a large fence surrounding the compound and the best efforts of local police, over the years this facility has fallen victim to thieves who have hauled literally truck loads of wire and other materials out of here for scrap value. When the plant was decommissioned every building was wired for electricity. Much to the dismay of the folks now developing the site as an interpretive facility, there is no longer any chance of getting lights working in the remote areas of the plant without extensive and costly rewiring.
