Photo #N17-2Greendale School, Front Detail

The old pot bellied stove which heated this one room school still sits in the entrance. Apparently this school began operation in 1915 and served for 38 years until it was closed in 1953. It was a cool experience coming across it late at night and shooting these pictures, realizing that it has been standing silent and abandoned here on the Saskatchewan prairie for almost 50 years.
