The general store at Fusilier has been around since the early 1900's. As I entered the building to do lighting, I noticed the weathered, overgrown remains of the concrete sidewalk in front. It is funny how something like that will get you thinking. It made me wonder what this view would have looked like 40 or 50 years ago. What did the sign look like? I imagined this store with a fresh coat of paint and a flag still flying from the mast on top. Could you come by here in the old one ton on a scorching hot day and grab a bottle of Coke from one of those old style coolers? What would it be like to step back in time to before I was born and experience this place? As I stood there silently in the autumn night air, I wondered...
