Cemetery Hill, #6
Estuary, Saskatchewan

This is the newer part of the cemetery. The cloud patterns above seem to further express the flat, horizontal feel of this scene. The markers here which remain readable date from the mid 1930's through to 1985. Despite the one relatively recent burial, the next previous was 20 years earlier in 1965. Once a thriving town with seven grain elevators and a population of over 800 people, Estuary was all but gone by 1965. The the community store closed a year later in 1966.
