Ring Around the Moon
Neidpath, Saskatchewan

Ring around the moon -- rain by noon. ...Or so the saying goes. The phenomenon in is caused by ice crystals in the atmosphere, which supposedly can indicate rain within 12 to 18 hours, so there might be some truth to it. This was my last shot of the night at Neidpath. Twelve hours later I was hundreds of miles and a province away so I guess we'll never know for sure.
