Keillor Road Landslide #1

The October 2003 full moon found me shooting close to home at the site of a landslide in Edmonton's river valley. Keillor Road was once a handy shortcut in or out of the university area, bypassing rush hour traffic. Despite its popularity with some local residents, the city refused to upgrade the road and had tried for years to close it. Perhaps they knew that the riverbank upon which it was built was unstable. In March of 2003, a spectacular landslide occurred which would mark the end of the road forever.
