Compressor Plant, Interior #1

This may have been one of the noisiest places in the Turner Valley Gas Plant. This is the compressor plant and to the left you will see a row of 10 huge compressors which were used to pump field gas throughout the gas plant. The compressors were powered by massive internal combustion engines, which probably also made this the warmest place in the gas plant, a good place to be working on a cold winter day. I especially like the view of the plant out the large windows of this building. Note the large pipes exiting the building overhead and curving into the ground outside.
